Individual Therapy for Young Adults in San Diego & Online in California
For the things you can’t seem to think your way through.
Sometimes your brain has a lot to say.
About your relationship. Your friends. Your family. Your career. That text you probably didn’t need to reread six times. Whether you’re making the right decision. Whether you’re overreacting. Whether everyone else somehow got a manual for adulthood that you missed.
Sometimes thinking about something more doesn't actually make it clearer. You just end up having the same conversation with yourself in twelve slightly different ways.
Therapy gives us somewhere to take all of that. Together, we can figure out what's actually bothering you, what belongs to an old pattern or fear, and what might be worth listening to.
Individual therapy can help with:
Anxiety, overthinking, and perfectionism
Dating, relationships, and breakups
Self-esteem, confidence, and body image
Friendship and family dynamics
School, career, burnout, and life transitions
Grief, loss, and difficult life experiences
Identity and figuring out what you actually want
What therapy with me looks like
We might spend one session talking about something that happened three years ago and the next figuring out how to respond to a text you got that morning. Both can matter.
We'll look at what's happening in your life right now while also paying attention to the experiences, relationships, and patterns that may be shaping how you respond to it.
I'm not here to tell you what to do or decide what's best for you. I'll help you slow things down, look at things from different angles, notice connections, and figure out what feels right for you.
And when you're ready, we'll work on actually doing something differently.

Yes. I currently accept Aetna, Anthem, UCSHIP, Cigna, Optum, Oxford, UnitedHealthcare, Carelon Behavioral Health, Independence Blue Cross Pennsylvania, and Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey.
If I’m not in-network with your insurance, I can also provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement depends on your specific plan, so I recommend checking your out-of-network mental health benefits directly with your insurance provider.

Yes! Online therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for many people—and it can be more convenient and accessible, especially if you have a busy schedule. I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, and I’m happy to answer any questions you might have about what to expect from virtual sessions.

That’s a completely normal feeling. Especially if you’ve never done therapy before or had a less-than-great experience in the past. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and not judged. We’ll go at your pace and focus on what feels most helpful for you.
You don't have to figure it all out before you reach out.
Schedule a free 15-minute consultation to tell me a little about what's going on, ask questions, and see if we're a good fit.
